The town is just 3-hour ride away from the nearest railway station, bus/vehicle stand & the airport.

Darjeeling is famous for the production of its high-quality tea leaves. The favorable climate, pesticide-free soil, non-polluted environment & ideal temperatures support a healthy growth of premium leaves that are handpicked by the locals who have been picking & treating leaves since generations. The Darjeeling Tea is prized worldwide for being the “Champagne of Teas” and is imported worldwide at a fairly handsome rate. Also, the Darjeeling Toy Train is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO.
