Where is Andaman?
A union territory of India, Andaman is an archipelago that is separated from the mainland of India, yet forms an essential part of the geographical territory. It lies in the Bay of Bengal, about 1220 km southeast of West Bengal and 1190 km east of Chennai. Some of the major islands in Andaman are- Land Fall Island, South Andaman, Middle Andaman, Port Blair and Little Andaman. The only airport of Andaman is Port Blair which is well connected to Chennai, Kolkata and other cities of the country.
